OCP 110 ton Chin Fong presses

A customer approached Press Shop Automation with 6 old key clutch presses that were used for put and take operations, the cycle time per part was very slow and the customer was unable to compete in today’s market.

PSA advised the customer to replace all six presses with the latest New OCP 110 Chin Fong presses all fitted with safety light curtains. The New OCP has a high driving torque wet clutch and brake, super rigid steel frame, fast response hydraulic overload protection and is guaranteed to minimize frame deflection.

Subsequently, the cycle time was significantly reduced, resulting in a cost-down for the part and a satisfactory payback period. The customer now has an incredibly time efficient workshop, maximizing both output and operator labour. The client is now world competitive and producing parts for the Australian market.
