Turn key solution for uncoiling, straightening, multiple feed length feeding (gagging), stamping and cut-to-length component manufacturing

Printer friendly view

A high quality manufacturer of workshop cabinets was required to automate his production in order to meet demand. After consultation with the client, PSA recommended the solution of a totally integrated system that would uncoil, straighten, and feed the material to a double crank press, then cut off via a sheer.

The feeding process had to incorporate a gag style or multiple feed lengths to produce one component.

The key criteria here was maximizing production output to meet customers orders. PSA was able to offer a total turn- key solution.

After the success of this first installation, the customer can see the efficiencies gained and is considering investing in additional production cells to meet the ever increasing market demand for their product.
